Read what people are saying!

I usually don’t talk behind anybody’s back but I am making an exception here.
The other night, I attended a real estate investment club meeting in the Los Angeles area. I had the opportunity to talk with Tony Alvarez. He was making himself available to many of the people attending the event and providing free consulting. He wasn’t selling anything and only giving to those who approached him.
This is far different than what I am used to. I am used to hearing from many of the self-proclaimed experts in real estate in short sales, foreclosures and flipping houses who are really just out there selling stuff. It turns out that many of them are selling their courses, seminars and programs and don’t really have in the street real life selling in the current marketplace. They are all about selling you a course with no real ability or plan to help the participant.
I know because I unfortunately got caught up in purchasing program after program and invested lots of money these past two years with nothing to show for it.
I was first licensed and also became a real estate investor back in 1974. I have seen and been in a number of cyles and have made and lost money during that time. What Tony is preaching is all about not taking the risk but instead making wise decisions about investing. He also offered free information and gave a number of the people who approached him very solid and good advise as to what to do or not do in a particular situation.
When I got home, I went to his website and saw that he wrote a book. I ordered the book and have read the first 30 pages. He told us in his book about his Rags to Riches story but told the truth about how he got there. It was not an overnight thing where he became a millionaire overnight. However, he does tell us how he made over $7 million dollars in 7 years.
I hope to spend some time with Tony again soon to get some additional insight as to how I can make a lot of money in the current marketplace. He was inspiring.
Sincerely,
Leon K.

As a good friend and constant inspiration, I can tell you that Tony’s the Real Deal. He’s out in the streets daily, practicing what he teaches. His course is pure gold. In my opinion, it’s hands down the best material available on the REO buying business. A must have course if you’re serious about buying bank repos.
He outlines his course step by step. Easy to follow. Solid meat and potatoes content, no fluff and filler here. On a scale of 1-10, Tony’s material is off the chart. I can’t say enough good things about his course. Nice work Tony!

Tony, you inspired me to no end! Every time I hear you speak I go home and revise my goals upward, way up! A morning very, very well spent. Thanks so much for sharing and holding nothing back. It’s refreshing to hear the real deal from someone who’s in the trenches daily. I loved all of it. Thanks again Tony.

No lie. No BS. No kiss ass. You were great, Tony. Heck – even the fly that came in on Friday was hooked and would not leave. Yup, you did well. Thanks, Tony.

I liked the down to earth approach and real examples used. I liked the practical steps in the book.

I enjoyed “GPS” as a simple business plan. I liked the breakdown of psychological vs. physical fear. I’m very excited about the positive attitude you have towards finding what does work while others are scared. I got to see specific deals, the liked the combo of humor and intensity and your desire to truly help people. You discussed being in the presence of greatness and success makers. You emphasized relationship building and what that has done for your business. You gave recommendations to follow up on pendings/short sales. Your examples of formula of an REO offer (how to get offers noticed), overcoming obstacles, “after seminar” time with Tony. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us outside of class.

I loved and appreciated all the time you spent on how psychological fear doesn’t have a place in my life — thank you for your transparency and your willingness to help others succeed.
Remy D.
I enjoyed learning how you teach because I am trying to mentor my god daughter and didn’t know where to start with a green, but eager, 20 year old! There was a lot of time spent on overcoming fear, but obviously that is the biggest problem for most people.
Helen W.
I appreciated you being straight forward.
Mark P.
I liked the fact that you were down to earth. There was no fancy “lingo”. It was very informative and full of practical info.
Jane M.
Realistic numbers, real life examples and Tony’s reasons and ways to overcome fear were the best part. The info was very useful. I loved Tony’s presentation and would also like to be a part of his mentorship program.

I enjoyed learning about pending properties, the GPS idea and getting over your fears. Networking is so important to be around like-minded people. Tony explained many ways of getting rid of fears which is what holds up most people. It is great for people who haven’t gotten started.

Tony’s humor, real life examples, anecdotes and emphasis on attitude and action were the best part of the presentation. Tony is an inspiring, knowledgeable and personable presenter. I appreciate the “meaty” content and no BS opinion and information sharing. A refreshing change of pace from some seminars I’ve attended!

Your ideas and expertise come from experience. You have a great attitude of success.
Tom C.
The content and your presentation were great. The Tele seminar the following week for Q&A was a great idea. I learned a lot.
Thank you,

Uncle Tony,
I wanted to thank you AGAIN. I’ve been driving around like a madman and your interview with Carol and the special report CD really help keep me focused on the bigger picture while I’m looking at houses and appraising. The content is all straight talk and clearly comes from your heart. A welcome breather from all the Cal Worthington Real Estate crap out there.
The one day is great, but the real kicker is the book and the CDs, those items really assist me with what I need to do to get better.
Thanks to you, I am growing my company and I LOVE MY OFFERS!!!
Peter A.
Hi Tony,
I met you at your training on 7/12/09, until that day I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Thank you very much for the education.
Michelle F.
Hi Tony,
Thanks for the Webinar tonight. Your additional information was very helpful. FANTASTIC!
Barry S.
Hi Tony,
A HUGE THANK YOU for the privilege of attending your workshop last weekend in Los Angeles as a guest of yours. What an honor it was! I truly appreciate your generous spirit and caring about us, your students, by giving us the huge benefit of your knowledge, experience and expertise to “make it big” in this market.
I’ve been listening to your tapes this week, again, in my car from your first seminar. It pays to listen more than once because there’s so much valuable information to take in.
Kathy S.
Tony,
I attended your Saturday seminar and I also said “Hello” to you at Bruce’s seminar. You are good! Very knowledgeable!
Glady’s H.
Tony,
My deepest thanks for a truly outstanding seminar last Saturday. The detailed step by step info and the insights into working with agents made it possibly the most valuable seminar I have taken.
I look forward to seeing the internet mentoring program you are developing and possible personal participation.
Thanks again
Roger S.
Tony,
Thanks for the great seminar yesterday. I took the Norris bootcamp in May but you were able to fill in some educational gaps I didn’t know I had.
Thanks again,
Robert P.
Howdy Tony…
I truly enjoyed your all day seminar. I loved the way that you presented it, bullet points with a little real life examples in between. Kind of an all meat and no potatoes type of format.
You and Sabrina did a great job.
Dee A.
Hi Tony,
Thank you for the fantastic seminar on Saturday in Culver City. It was packed with tons of great information and I’m sure it will be extremely helpful.
Sincerely,
Barry S.
Hello Tony,
My name is Aileen Noche and I just recently attended your seminar this past weekend. I wanted to thank you for not making it monotone and boring. It was very informative and inspiring. It is hard to find real estate investor speakers that will keep me focused for more than 10 minutes. Thank you very much and I wish you all the luck.
Regards,
Aileen N.
Tony and crew,
After going thru the BEST real estate seminar EVER with you on Saturday, I’m very excited. The properties I’ve had success with out of state have been REO’s, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make it work here. Now I don’t have to reinvent the wheel, just follow the program. You provided more information than I’ve ever gotten in such a short period of time.
Regards and thanks,
Nell F.
Tony,
I ran across your website here when surfing through the web. I wanted to just let you know how much I admire you and what you have done and the advice you have given to the real estate community.
I heard you speak a couple times at different clubs and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to you speak as it has been a great inspiration. I have this one CD where you’re talking with Bruce Norris about how you do what you do. I must have listened to the CD a dozen times. The one part that really stands out is when you talk about being in the people business, “and in the people business there is little or no competition”. I’ve followed your advice 100% about caring about other people’s success and developing a symbiotic relationship and it has really started to pay off with a couple REO agents. It’s made me realize that just that little extra effort is making the difference between being average and being great.
Thanks again for your inspiration and I hope to accomplish even half of what you have done seven years from now.
Thanks,
Andrew
Dear Tony,
What a nice presentation at the SDCIA, I always enjoy listening to you. The first time I heard you at the MillionMaker Bootcamp organized by Bruce, it was awesome, like many others I came to the stage to give you a hug.
Thanks as always.
Sincerely,
Ashraf M.
Tony and Sabrina,
Hello, I briefly introduced myself, Ellen Miller, and handed you an odd sized white card as a temporary business card at the meeting in the Scottish Rite Center in San Diego. I enjoyed your presentation very much.
I really enjoyed the low-key, relaxed, fun atmosphere of learning you have.
Sabrina, thank you for being so approachable and efficient also.
Again, thank you so much.
Ellen M.
Hello Tony,
This is Nathan. I attended your REO workshop last month. It was very good and informative. I like your No B.S. approach. Refreshing to listen to.
Nathan
Dear Tony,
I really appreciate your teaching last Saturday.

Thank you so very much!

Anonymous comments from Tony’s last full day Seminar:
I liked learning from someone so knowledgeable about my own area. It made it very real to me, not just some guru whose information didn’t apply clearly to my market. Getting the contact info for stellar folks in the business in the AV was also extremely helpful.
You’re like George Jefferson; you’re moving on up to the big leagues.
It was no nonsense content and there was lots of it. Real practical and user oriented.
I liked that you provided the precise language and approach to use when contacting an REO agent. I also really liked that you stayed after the seminar to answer questions till we dropped.
I liked how you showed us how to approach and present ourselves to REO agents.
I like the fact that Tony is sincere.
The best part was the up to date info pertinent right now!!
The Q&A time was the best part of the day.
The best part of the program was the networking and learning.
I enjoyed hearing about the topic and it enlightened me to a segment off the market. A very heart felt “Thank you”.
The content and information presented were the best. Tony was great.
Tony was the best!! Good info. I love that Tony is straight up and pulls no punches. He has integrity and grit which makes him a role model for me. P.S. Sabrina ROCKS! You have a loyal follower and groupie for life.
Insights were unbeatable. Many thanks.
The presentation was the best.
I loved the whole seminar in general because it’s a subject that I’m very interested in and that made it enjoyable and easy to follow. On the outstanding side you are very, very well versed in the subject and it shows by the detail that you go into with specifics and actual stories from the trenches. These things make you a great and respected teacher because you have done it and are not just selling it.
The presenter was awesome!
